Uroczystość Krwi Chrystusa była uroczyście obchodzona 1 lipca w Centrum Pojednania w Prozorje w Zagrzebiu, w obecności wielu wiernych. Uroczystej Mszy Świętej przewodniczył arcybiskup Zagrzebia, bp Drazen Kutlesa. Na początku mszy relikwia Krwi Chrystusa została wniesiona do kościoła w uroczystej procesji.

W koncelebrze z arcybiskupem Kutlesą uczestniczyło 21 kapłanów, którzy przybyli, aby uwielbiać tę wspaniałą celebrację Ceny naszego Zbawienia.
W swoim przemówieniu na początku Mszy św. ks. Eliasz Grgić, C.PP.S, dyrektor misji chorwackiej, pozdrowił arcybiskupa: „Księże Arcybiskupie, witamy w Twoim i pośród Twoich. Witamy w Centrum Pojednania Misjonarzy Krwi Chrystusa. Pozdrawiając Księdza Arcybiskupa, dziękuję również za przyniesienie relikwii Krwi Chrystusa do tego Centrum Pojednania. Ta relikwia nie jest „dodatkiem” do kościoła, ale jej zadaniem jest jeszcze bardziej zachęcić nas do dostrzeżenia ofiary Chrystusa za człowieka, ponieważ nie ma lepszego i mocniejszego znaku niż Krew Jezusa”.
Na początku homilii abp Kutlesa podkreślił, że „członkowie Misjonarzy Krwi Chrystusa czerpią inspirację ze szczególnej czci Krwi Chrystusa. Dzisiejszy dzień jest dla nich świętem, a dla nas wielką radością, ponieważ jesteśmy uczestnikami tego uroczystego uwielbienia Krwi Chrystusa”.
Mówiąc o teologicznym znaczeniu krwawej ofiary Chrystusa i porównując ofiary Starego i Nowego Testamentu, arcybiskup Kutlesa powiedział, że ofiary Starego Testamentu „były tylko cieniem tego, co miało nadejść. Poprzedzały one doskonałą ofiarę Chrystusa, która zostanie złożona raz na zawsze za grzechy całego świata” i że ”w Nowym Testamencie Jezus Chrystus staje się tą doskonałą ofiarą. Jego Krew jest nie tylko krwią niewinnej osoby, ale Krwią Syna Bożego”. Arcybiskup wskazał, że jest to wyjątkowa ofiara, święta ofiara i zbawcza ofiara, podkreślając, że „Krew Chrystusa wzywa nas do wiary, która objawia się poprzez sakramenty, a w Eucharystii otrzymujemy samą Krew Chrystusa, która nieustannie nas oczyszcza i uświęca”.

Arcybiskup zakończył swoją homilię: „Przed tymi relikwiami zawsze zadawajmy sobie pytanie, jak nasza wiara wpływa na nasze osobiste decyzje, zachowanie i sposób, w jaki żyjemy. Jako odkupieni przez Boga, jesteśmy wezwani do życia w sposób, który odzwierciedla ofiarę i miłość Chrystusa. Powinniśmy zadać sobie pytanie: Jak możemy być światłem w świecie? Jak możemy pokazać miłość Chrystusa do naszych bliźnich? Jezus wzywa nas, byśmy byli solą ziemi i światłem świata. Czy odpowiadamy na to wezwanie? Kiedy dajemy świadectwo o Krwi Chrystusa, pokazujemy światu moc Bożej miłości i odkupienia. Możemy o tym świadczyć poprzez duchowe i fizyczne uczynki miłosierdzia, przebaczenia i pojednania, żyjąc w sprawiedliwości i uczciwości”.

Na zakończenie Eucharystii ks. Eliasz Grgic podziękował arcybiskupowi Kutlesie i wręczył mu ikonę świętego Kaspra del Bufalo.
Relikwia Krwi Chrystusa, która jest darem Zgromadzenia Sióstr Krwi Chrystusa z Schellenberg w Liechtensteinie dla chorwackiej misji, będzie dostępna dla wiernych do końca lipca w Centrum Pojednania w Prozorje w Zagrzebiu.

Feast of the Precious Blood in Croatian Mission and relic of the Precious Blood
Feast of the Precious Blood was solemnly celebrated on July 1st at the Reconciliation Center in Prozorje, Zagreb, in the presence of many believers. The solemn mass celebration was presided by the Archbishop of Zagreb, Msgr. Drazen Kutlesa. At the beginning of the mass celebration, the relic of the Precious Blood was brought into the church in a solemn procession.
There were 21 priests in the concelebration with Archbishop Kutlesa who came to glorify this magnificent celebration of the Price of our Salvation.
In his introductory speech at the beginning of the mass celebration, Fr. Ilija Grgić, C.PP.S, Director of the Croatian Mission, greeted the Archbishop: „Father Archbishop, welcome to yours and among yours. Welcome to the Reconciliation Center of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood. As I greet you, I also thank you for bringing the relic of the Precious Blood into this Reconciliation Center. This relic is not an 'addition’ to the church, but its task is to encourage us even more to notice Christ’s sacrifice for man, because there is no better and stronger sign than the Blood of Jesus.”
At the beginning of his homily, Archbishop Kutlesa emphasized that „members of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood draw inspiration from the special veneration of the Blood of Christ. Today is a celebration for them, and a great joy for us because we are participants in this festive praise of the Precious Blood.”
Speaking about the theological meaning of Christ’s blood sacrifice and comparing Old Testament and New Testament sacrifices, Archbishop Kutlesa said that the Old Testament „sacrifices were only a shadow of what was to come. They preceded the perfect sacrifice of Christ that will be offered once and for all for the sins of the whole world” and that „in the New Testament Jesus Christ becomes that perfect sacrifice. His Blood is not only the blood of an innocent person, but the Blood of the Son of God.” Archbishop pointed out that it is a unique sacrifice, a holy sacrifice and a saving sacrifice, stressing that „the Blood of Christ calls us to faith, which is manifested through the sacraments, and in the Eucharist, we receive the very Blood of Christ, which constantly cleanses and sanctifies us.”
Archbishop concluded his homily: „Before these relics, let us always ask ourselves how our faith affects our personal decisions, behavior and the way we live. As God’s redeemed people, we are called to live in a way that reflects Christ’s sacrifice and love. We should ask ourselves: How can we be a light in the world? How can we show Christ’s love for our neighbors? Jesus calls us to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Are we answering that call? When we bear witness to the Blood of Christ, we show the world the power of God’s love and redemption. We can witness it through spiritual and physical works of mercy, forgiveness and reconciliation, living in righteousness and honesty.”
At the end of the Eucharistic celebration, Fr. Ilija Grgic, thanked Archbishop Kutlesa and presented him with an icon of St. Gaspar del Bufalo.
The relic of the Precious Blood, which is gift from the Congregation of the Sisters of the Precious Blood from Schellenberg, Liechtenstein to the Croatian Mission, will be available for veneration of believers until the end of July in the Reconciliation Center in Prozorje, Zagreb, Croatia.

Fiesta de la Preciosa Sangre en la Misión de Croacia y reliquia de la Preciosa Sangre
La Fiesta de la Preciosa Sangre se celebró solemnemente el 1 de julio en el Centro de Reconciliación de Prozorje, Zagreb, en presencia de numerosos fieles. La solemne celebración eucarística fue presidida por el Arzobispo de Zagreb, Mons. Drazen Kutlesa. Al comienzo de la misa, la reliquia de la Preciosa Sangre fue introducida en la iglesia en solemne procesión.
En la concelebración con el Arzobispo Kutlesa participaron 21 sacerdotes que asistieron para honrar esta magnífica celebración del Precio de nuestra Salvación.
Al comienzo de la homilía, el P. Ilija Grgić, C.PP.S, Director de la Misión Croata, saludó al Arzobispo: «Padre Arzobispo, bienvenido a su casa, está Ud. entre los suyos. Bienvenido al Centro de Reconciliación de los Misioneros de la Preciosa Sangre. Al saludarle, le agradezco también que haya traído la reliquia de la Preciosa Sangre a este Centro de Reconciliación. Esta reliquia no es un 'añadido’ a la iglesia, sino que su tarea es animarnos aún más a notar el sacrificio de Cristo por el hombre, porque no hay signo mejor y más fuerte que la Sangre de Jesús».
Al comienzo de su homilía, el Arzobispo Kutlesa subrayó que «los miembros de los Misioneros de la Preciosa Sangre se inspiran en la veneración especial de la Sangre de Cristo. Hoy es una fiesta para ellos, y una gran alegría para nosotros porque somos partícipes de esta alabanza festiva a la Preciosa Sangre.»
Hablando del significado teológico del sacrificio de sangre de Cristo y comparando los sacrificios del Antiguo Testamento y del Nuevo Testamento, el Arzobispo Kutlesa dijo que los «sacrificios del Antiguo Testamento eran sólo una sombra de lo que estaba por venir. Precedían al sacrificio perfecto de Cristo que se ofrecerá de una vez por todas por los pecados de todo el mundo» y que «en el Nuevo Testamento Jesucristo se convierte en ese sacrificio perfecto. Su Sangre no es sólo la sangre de un inocente, sino la Sangre del Hijo de Dios». El Arzobispo señaló que se trata de un sacrificio único, un sacrificio santo y un sacrificio salvador, subrayando que «la Sangre de Cristo nos llama a la fe, que se manifiesta a través de los sacramentos, y en la Eucaristía recibimos la misma Sangre de Cristo, que nos limpia y santifica constantemente».
El Arzobispo concluyó su homilía diciendo: «Ante estas reliquias, preguntémonos siempre cómo afecta nuestra fe a nuestras decisiones personales, a nuestro comportamiento y a nuestro modo de vivir. Como pueblo redimido de Dios, estamos llamados a vivir de un modo que refleje el sacrificio y el amor de Cristo. Debemos preguntarnos: ¿Cómo podemos ser una luz en el mundo? ¿Cómo podemos mostrar el amor de Cristo a nuestro prójimo? Jesús nos llama a ser la sal de la tierra y la luz del mundo. ¿Respondemos a esa llamada? Cuando damos testimonio de la Sangre de Cristo, mostramos al mundo el poder del amor y la redención de Dios. Podemos dar testimonio de ello a través de obras espirituales y físicas de misericordia, perdón y reconciliación, viviendo en la rectitud y la honestidad».
Al final de la celebración eucarística, el P. Ilija Grgic, dio las gracias al Arzobispo Kutlesa y le regaló un icono de San Gaspar del Búfalo.
La reliquia de la Preciosa Sangre, regalo de la Congregación de las Hermanas de la Preciosa Sangre de Schellenberg, Liechtenstein, a la Misión Croata, estará expuesta para la veneración de los creyentes hasta finales de julio en el Centro de Reconciliación de Prozorje, Zagreb, Croacia.
