Uroczystość święceń odbyła się w parafii p.w. Ścięcia Jana Chrzciciela w Rudzie Śląskiej Goduli.

Ksiądz Arcybiskup w homilii powiedział do ks. Jana:
„Prowadź życie zgodne z tajemnicą Pańskiego krzyża”. To wielka prośba Kościoła. Właśnie o to w byciu księdzem chodzi. „Zgodnie z tajemnicą Pańskiego krzyża”, to znaczy w uniżeniu, w schowaniu, w pokorze, w małości, w pracowitości, w gotowości do poświęcenia i do ofiary. (…)
Jakże piękny przykład tego wszystkiego masz w Założycielu twojego Zgromadzeniu, św. Kasprze. „To nie mury ani dobór osób czynią nas lepszymi, ale pokonanie naszej miłości własnej również w sprawach duchowych, duchowe zwycięstwo do którego wzywa nas Jezus Chrystus wyłączne pragnienie jego chwały i dobra dusz‚ a niczego innego”. To jego słowa i jego postawa. (…)
Pokazuj nam Chrystusa, nie siebie, pokazuj nam moc i siłę Jego Przenajświętszej Krwi, poprzez którą – jak powie św. Paweł – zostaliśmy usprawiedliwieni (por. Rz 5,9).
W uroczystości święceń kapłańskich, wzięli udział Księża i Bracia Misjonarze z Prowincji Polskiej a także z Delegatury Chorwackiej. Rodzice, znajomi, przyjaciele ks. Jana, parafianie, Księża Pallotyni, Siostry Adoratorki Krwi Chrystusa, osoby ze Wspólnoty Krwi Chrystusa, goście z całej Polski.

The Missionaries of the Precious Blood of the Polish Province, give thanks to God, for the gift of the ordination of Father Jan Piotr Stankowski CPPS to the degree of Presbyter.
The ordination ceremony took place on 18 May 2024, at the parish of St. John the Baptist in Ruda Śląska Godula, Poland. In the parish from which Fr Jan comes.
Fr Jan was ordained a priest by Archbishop Adrian Galbas SAC, Metropolitan of Katowice.
In his homily, the Archbishop said to Fr John:
„Lead a life in accordance with the mystery of the Lord’s cross”. This is a great request of the Church. This is what being a priest is all about. „According to the mystery of the Lord’s cross”, that is, in humility, in hiding, in lowliness, in diligence, in readiness to sacrifice and to offerings. (…)
What a beautiful example of all this you have in the Founder of your Congregation, St Kasper. „It is not the walls or the choice of persons that make us better, but the overcoming of our self-love also in spiritual matters, the spiritual victory to which Jesus Christ calls us the exclusive desire for his glory and the good of souls’ and nothing else.” These are his words and his attitude. Show us Christ, not ourselves, show us the power and strength of His Precious Blood, through which, as St Paul says, we have been justified (cf. Rom 5:9).
Priests and Missionary Brothers from the Polish Province and also from the Croatian participated in the ceremony of priestly ordination. Fr Jan’s parents, acquaintances, friends, parishioners, Pallottine Fathers, Sisters Adorers of the Precious Blood, people from the Community of the Precious Blood, guests from all over Poland.
